ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

RECIPE DEVELOPMENT

With access to over 200 raw materials, you’ll have a specialized team of food technologists and nutritionists to help you develop your very own recipe, tailored to your brand. They will ensure that all our partner brands’ pet food recipes are nutritionally right. And that means going through a rigorous selection of the appropriate ingredients and advising you on the best nutritional solution to suit your brand.

RAW MATERIALS SOURCING

Using only natural and high-quality ingredients from local sources that we know and trust, we can assure you that every bag of pet food that are produced is chock full of the best meats and fruits, seasoned with the freshest herbs.

Unlike our mass-producing competitors, we strive to use wild or free-range meats that are not subject to growth hormones and steroids but are instead raised in a stress-free environment. The raw materials that go into our foods are true to nature. And we also make sure that all our recipes contain no artificial preservatives, flavors, fillers or by-products that are commonly found in many of today’s pet foods.

Production

With our recent upgrade to our manufacturing facility, Addiction is now the biggest and most technologically advanced dry pet food plant in New Zealand.

We have a great responsibility to brands and pets all over the world, that’s why we obsess over every detail of how we make our products. Our ongoing investment in our manufacturing equipment and leverage of digital technology mean that all products manufactured by Addiction are of great quality and made with maximum production efficiency.

From having the ability to incorporate a high percentage of fresh meat injections to being able to do small batch, low temperature processing, our innovative methods make it now possible for our OEM partners to market unique consumer propositions that few can.

Our specially-developed food production equipment also allows us to create dry pet food of all sizes and shapes. This makes it possible to have the proper kibble treat size that is easily edible to any cat and dog breeds.

Quality Assurance

Product integrity and food safety have always been Addiction’s top priority.

Operating our own dedicated manufacturing facility in New Zealand, Addiction has a strict Code of Conduct that requires our plant to adhere to the highest standards for food safety. By following a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) program by New Zealand’s food and safety authorities, we work to comply with every checkpoint throughout the supply chain.

All our outputs pass through metal detection and microbiological testing. This ensures that all the foods we produce are free from any contaminants and the final products always meet the high standards that have made Addiction New Zealand’s best premium pet food manufacturer.

A One-Stop Shop for Your Logistical Needs

With our new purpose-built hub that can store up to 1,300 pallets worth of pet food, Addiction can stockpile and distribute your new label of pet food to almost any destination in the world. Our warehouse center has been designed to facilitate efficient packaging, shipment, and full traceability so that our OEM partners can trust in a hassle-free experience from start to end.

In addition, all administrative aspects of regulatory processing, certification, and all necessary shipping documents for international orders will be handled on your behalf. This means that by partnering us, you’ll be free to focus on the aspects of your business that truly matters.

We are constantly looking for ways to add value to our partners. As one out of only a few countries that can export beef and lamb to territories like China and Russia, we truly have an international reach—the kind of reach that has helped many of our OEM partners extend their businesses worldwide.
